The REFCLAMP measures both the tube and air temperature as well as the humidity in the ambient air of mobile and stationary refrigeration systems and heat pumps.
It has two sensors included: a pipe temperature sensor and a humidity sensor. Furthermore, the outside temperature can be measured by means of a plug-in K-type sensor.
The illuminated display guarantees constant control of the measured values. Another plus: The narrow tip also enables measurement in hard-to-reach places.
Furthermore, the clamp can be connected to REFMATE and the REFMESH app and thus contribute to an optimal adjustment of the system.
Functions:
- Target superheat
- Tube temperature and air temperature measurement
- Humidity measurement
- Calculation of wet bulb temperature
- Calculation of superheat and subcooling
- Temperature difference calculation - Delta T
- Ice water calibration
- Fast response time
- Permanent view of the measured values thanks to illuminated display
- Comfortable handling thanks to wireless connection and ergonomic design
- Simple operation with 2 buttons
- Real-time display of measured values on the clamp, the REFMATE, and the REFMESH app
- High range of 330 yards

- Is the REFCLAMP compatible with the TAP?Copy link
NO, the REFCLAMP`s (4688704 & 4688733) are not compatible with the TAP (4687787).
TAP is compatible with the WIRELESS-CLAMP WTC only (4687785)
- Why does REFCO use batteries instead of rechargeable batteries in their products?Copy link
All our REFMESH products can be battery-operated. They require 1.5V AA or AAA batteries. We deliberately avoid using rechargeable batteries since they need to be charged before a device can be used when depleted. Most service technicians have batteries on hand or can purchase them nearby. For long-term measurements, REFCO devices can also be operated with an external power source via the USB interface. The exceptions here are the REFCLAMP devices.
- Do your REFMESH products connect directly to the App?Copy link
Yes, all REFMESCH products can be directly connected from the App. The exception is the TRITECTOR. However, for a stable connection, we recommend connecting all products from the REFMATE and then connecting the REFMATE from the App.
- Is the REFMATE updatable for new refrigerants?Copy link
Yes, REFCO provides all refrigerants and updates free of charge. The new refrigerants are made available through the REFMESH app (Settings --> REFCO Device Updates).
- Correct installation for target superheat measurementCopy link
The following items are required for a correct target superhaet measurement:
1. REFMATE
2. 2x REFCLAMP
3. 1x K-TYPE-SENSOR
The correct installation can be found in the images.
