The TRITECTOR™ is the practical 3-in-1 solution for the professional refrigeration engineer – with easily replaceable sensors, all common refrigerants, combustible gases and tracer gases can be detected with only one device. The adjustable sensitivity levels find even the smallest leaks, and the ambient concentration is continuously compensated automatically or can also be compensated manually. As soon as a leak is detected, the color LCD display gives a visual signal and an optional sound is emitted. As with other REFCO products, either AA batteries or Micro-USB supplies power - making annoying delays caused by dead batteries a thing of the past.

FAQ
Questions about Product
- Which refrigerants are detected by the various TRITECTOR-RCT SENSORS?
R-SENSOR / Refrigerant: 1 g/a / 0.04 oz/a R134a
C-SENSOR / Combustibles: 1 g/a / 0.04 oz/a R290; < 5 ppm methane
T-SENSOR / Tracer gas: 3 g/a / 0.1 oz/a
- Is TRITECTOR suitable for R744 (CO2)?
No, if R744 (CO2) is to be detected, the CO2-LOCATOR (4687990) from REFCO must be used.
- Why does REFCO use batteries instead of rechargeable batteries in their products?
All our REFMESH products can be battery-operated. They require 1.5V AA or AAA batteries. We deliberately avoid using rechargeable batteries since they need to be charged before a device can be used when depleted. Most service technicians have batteries on hand or can purchase them nearby. For long-term measurements, REFCO devices can also be operated with an external power source via the USB interface. The exceptions here are the REFCLAMP devices.
- Is the REFMATE updatable for new refrigerants?
Yes, REFCO provides all refrigerants and updates free of charge. The new refrigerants are made available through the REFMESH app (Settings --> REFCO Device Updates).
- Can REFCO's leak detectors and their sensors detect helium (R-704)?
Helium (R-704) is a refrigerant and can be used as a forming gas, but is not flammable.
Helium (R-704) cannot be detected by REFCO's leak detectors and their sensors.
