From the Water to the Alps. This year’s traditional summer event took us on a picturesque boat ride and then treated us to a culinary highlight in a charming Alpine-chic setting.
It was that time again: the entire Refco family came together for the traditional summer event. The sky was at its bluest and the temperatures were perfect – ideal for a boat trip.
And the best part: from the Refco headquarters in Hitzkirch, it’s just a stone’s throw to the ship dock at the beautiful Lake Hallwil. A scenic round trip took us to the opposite end of the lake and back. There was plenty of time for engaging conversations, lots of laughter, and refreshing drinks. The breeze provided a pleasant cool down.
Back on land, the next highlight awaited: a culinary delight in Alpine chic. In a cozy barn converted to a charming setting with a beautiful garden, it was time for grilling. Everyone got a skewer and could fill it with various meats, cheese, and vegetables as they liked.
The fire pit was lit, and we grilled to our hearts’ content. Finally, a delicious dessert of berry and chocolate mousse rounded off the successful evening.
It’s always wonderful when the whole staff comes together to spend time and chat in a relaxed atmosphere
